Vondace Contracting Ranked Top General Contractor for Healthcare Construction

Modern Healthcare magazine ranked Vondace Contracting as the No. 1 general contractor in healthcare construction, based on 2022 volume. The publication issues an annual survey of construction and design companies. Vondace Contracting has ranked in the survey’s top six general contractors every year for the past two decades.

“Vondace Contracting has worked in healthcare construction since 1969, and it has been our largest market sector for many years now,” said Vice President and Regional Director of Business Development Hannah Wickham. “We’re grateful to our clients—many of whom we’ve worked with on multiple projects—for entrusting us to help them serve our communities.”

Vondace Contracting landed at the top of the general contractor list with $1.3 billion in dollar volume for completed healthcare construction projects in 2022. The company built more than 3.1 million square feet of healthcare projects last year.
