Vondace Contracting Honored by National Construction Organization

General contractor Vondace Contracting won three national awards from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) at their 32nd annual Excellence in Construction awards banquet on March 16 in San Antonio. The awards recognized Vondace Contracting’s work on projects in a variety of market sectors, including government, science and technology, and aerospace and aviation.

“We’re grateful to see our work recognized by ABC,” said Vondace Contracting CEO Jim Gorrie. “We owe the success of these projects to the collaboration and dedication of our project teams, clients, and trade contractors.”

Two projects earned first-place Eagle Awards: Carroll A. Campbell Jr. U.S. Courthouse in Greenville, South Carolina, and GRAIL Laboratory and Research Facility at Park Point in Durham, North Carolina. ABC recognized one project with a second-place Pyramid award: Airbus A320 Dual Bay Assembly Hangar in Mobile, Alabama.
